A Tatty bump...

A couple of weeks ago I met up with the lovely Becky from Butterworth Photography to do a maternity shoot at Shottle Hall.  She captured the bump and I in full bloom! Here are some of my favourite shots.....

It was a gorgeous winter morning at Shottle Hall, Derbyshire and Becky styled the shoot with some gorgeous stationary from Pocket Typewriter (fingers crossed for one of their amazing cards on the arrival of Baby B!!) along with some of the cute little clothes and toys we have ready for bump, including the sweetest cardi and booties knitted by a very excited Nana to be!

Gorgeous Stationary from Pocket Typewriter... beautiful illustrations and packaged perfectly!

Becky did a fantastic job as I’m not used to being in front of the camera and it’s hard to be relaxed at 36 weeks pregnant!  She made sure I was at ease and her choice of venue, especially the gorgeous courtyard at Shottle Hall suited my style perfectly!

So thank you very much to Butterworth Photography for some lovely photos of a very special time!

See Becky's Fun, Love,Lifestyle blog HERE for some more photos and her story from the day.

Phew

Last weekend at Denby Pottery’s Christmas Fayre was hectic but great fun!  There were lots of lovely visitors and a great mix of stalls for them to see.

Fuelled by lots of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and cake and wrapped up warm against the elements we had a fabulous three days.

That was the very last Tattered Rose event for 2012 and I’d like to say a huge thank you to anyone who has visited, supported, organised or made any of the events I’ve attended this year possible.  I’ve had a lovely time meeting lots of people and getting Tattered Rose out there for everyone to see!  Excuse the ‘oscar – style’ speech but none of it would have been possible without my wonderful family.  Many of these events are booked way in advance and you don’t always know what lies ahead- so thank you to my family for pulling together and helping me out xx

Three days.........!

Today is the start of three days of festive fun at Denby Pottery Visitors Centre Christmas Fayre.  It’s the last event of the year for Tattered Rose and I’ve re-stocked the Christmas treats- earrings and limited edition button brooches.

I’m looking forward to this last, local (thankfully!) event as it’s guaranteed to feel very festive, they have great coffee, hot chocolate, fabulous stands, lots of visitors and I might even get a glimpse of Santa!

Hope to see you there!

A lovely day at Shottle Hall...

Yesterday was the Christmas Market at Shottle Hall.  I had a fabulous day, nowhere near as chilly as it was last year; in fact the marquee was rather toasty!

Speaking of toast, the Tattered Rose Stand was next to The Loaf, a bakery, delicatessen and cafe in Crich.  I sampled several pieces from their stand, from mince pies to coconut macaroons to a selection of breads, my favourite being the cheese and onion focaccia!  I can report that they were all fantastic and will have to pay them a visit soon to re-stock!

It was also great to see the other lovely stands, including Jane Hemmings Millinery.  This stand had the most amazing fascinators and headbands alongside a new winter collection of neck wraps.
I have a bit of a scarf addiction and already have far too many but these are different (that’s what I told Mr B anyway!) It’s a good job I picked one early on as when I went back at the end of the day the table was nearly bare!

Sweet Words Stationary also had a lovely stand with amazing handmade brooches and decorations which I know went down a storm!  So all in all, a great day and lovely to see lots of visitors, regular and new, starting to recognise Tattered Rose!

Thanks as always go to my fabulous family for helping me out, I could not have done it without them!  Enforced sitting breaks were the order of the day for me as I get closer to D Day!
