I’m very pleased to announce that you can now purchase items from the Tattered Rose collection at

Cromford mill was the first water powered cotton spinning mill developed by Richard Arkwright.

Now run by The Arkwright Society, who have created a living celebration of Sir Richard Arkwright’s achievements. The Society is a registered charity devoted to education, the conservation of the industrial heritage of this part of Derbyshire and improving the environment.
The Cromford Mill site has restaurants, shops, exhibitions, and a varied programme of events all offering a wide ranging retail experience in attractive surroundings. All purchases make a contribution to the work of the Society – directly or indirectly.

The shop in the yard is open every day except Christmas Day and stocks a wide selection of gifts, greeting cards and books of local interest including publications relating to the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. Also available are pieces from, Gisela Graham, Emma Bridgewater Fine Pottery, Robert Opie Nostalgic Gifts, Mitchell's Wool Fat Soaps and Toiletries, and much more.
Opening Hours: 9 am to 5 pm daily and well worth a visit!
